Menzies Aviation is seeking a maintenance technician in Sarasota, FL to service refueling and related equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and repair mechanical systems to ensure safe operations. The role requires 3–5 years of mechanical experience and a High School Diploma or GED, with English proficiency.

You must be available for variable shifts, including weekends and holidays, and be able to obtain airport badges.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of mechanical experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain airport badges/seals.

Responsabilités

• Inspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles and repair gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, fueling and mechanical systems.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual quality control checks on refueling equipment and maintain records.
• Drive and operate refueling equipment vehicles.
• Provide preventative care to equipment and timely repairs to ensure the aircraft services team operates effectively.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment in line with health, safety, and security policies.
