Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Sarasota, FL seeks a maintenance technician to support our aircraft services team. You will perform preventive care and repairs on refueling equipment, ensuring operations run safely and efficiently across all shifts.

The role requires 3–5 years of mechanical experience, Highway School Diploma or GED, and ability to read, write and speak English. Willingness to work weekends/holidays and obtain security badges is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of mechanical experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Available to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Must obtain and maintain Airports and Customs badges.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles as well as repairs to gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, fueling and mechanical systems.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual quality control checks on refueling equipment, maintain records relating to maintenance.
• Drive and operate refueling equipment vehicles.
• Ensure aircraft services operate effectively by providing preventative care to equipment and timely repairs.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment in line with safety policies and procedures.
