Job summary

AEG Fuels seeks a skilled GSE Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair Ground Support Equipment at Atlanta, GA or Cocoa Beach, FL, with operations across the Southeast.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, document work orders, and coordinate with Warehouse Operations to minimize downtime and keep equipment ready for service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience repairing GSE, heavy equipment, diesel equipment, fleet vehicles, automotive systems, or industrial machinery.
• Previous aviation or Ground Support Equipment maintenance experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, hydraulic schematics, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment, hand tools, power tools, and standard shop machinery.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, service, and repair motorized and non-motorized Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance per manufacturer specs and company standards.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems using diagnostic tools.
• Repair or replace engines, transmissions, brakes, steering components, and other systems as needed.
• Document work orders detailing inspections, labor, parts, and equipment status.
• Coordinate with operations regarding repair timelines and parts needs.
