Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Worker to support HQ USAF operational plans and ensure safe air transport for Cabinet Members, senior leaders, and visiting dignitaries. The role requires meticulous aircraft detailing, safe handling of equipment, and the ability to work across day, swing, night, and weekend shifts.

The position emphasizes attention to detail, use of ground support gear, and compliance with safety and disinfection protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of mechanical tools and aircraft safety.
• Able to read and comprehend technical data.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain and maintain a secret security clearance (US citizenship required).
• Must obtain and maintain a flightline driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft detailing and polishing to SAM FOX standard.
• Follow proper procedures and use the right tools/products.
• Work at heights and be comfortable reaching/bending with strong attention to detail.
• Operate ground support equipment and use hand tools/fixtures.
• Assist with towing aircraft and ground handling as needed.
• Maintain FOD awareness and safety at all times.
• Work day, swing, night, and weekend shifts as required.
• Possess disinfection qualifications to perform required tasks.
