Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Worker to support sensitive HQ USAF operations and safe air transport for Cabinet Members, senior leaders, and visiting dignitaries. You will detail and polish aircraft to SAM FOX standards and assist with ground handling and towing as needed.

The role requires meticulous work, ability to read technical data, operate ground support equipment, and obtain a secret clearance. Shifts include day, night, and weekends, with extensive safety responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Reading and understanding technical data is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Secret security clearance must be obtained; US Citizenship required.
• Flightline driver’s license must be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft detailing and polishing to the SAM FOX standard.
• Follow procedures and use the right tools and products.
• Work at heights, outdoors in inclement weather, with attention to detail.
• Operate ground support equipment and hand tools as required.
• Assist with towing aircraft and ground handling when needed.
• Maintain housekeeping, FOD awareness, and safety at all times.
• Work day, night, and weekend shifts as required.
• Possibility of cross utilization training in other maintenance tasks.
