Job summary

ALVEST’s TLD division in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Area Service Technician to support customers with troubleshooting, repairs and service bulletins for ground support equipment. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and train customers on proper operation and maintenance.

The role requires 2+ years of repair experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in varied weather conditions. Willingness to travel is not specified.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of repair and maintenance on vehicles, equipment and related components.
• Experience with diesel powered vehicles preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and read/speak English.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems on GSE equipment.
• Prepare reports and follow up on trouble tickets.
• Perform repairs and adjustments to equipment components and systems.
• Disassemble and reassemble components as needed.
• Interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain clean work area and company vehicles.
• Inspect and overhaul electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.
