Job summary

Piedmont Airlines is looking for a Customer Service Agent in Ground Handling to support boarding/disembarking, Jetway operations, and aircraft guidance. The role requires lifting up to 70 pounds, outdoor work in all weather, and training completion.

You will report to the General Manager and contribute to a high-energy service team. The position emphasizes safety, customer care, and efficiency on airport ramps, with shifts including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Training course completed
• Ability to meet company goals and customer expectations in a high energy environment
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask
• Previous airline experience
• Previous front-line customer service experience
• Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking flights
• Monitor computerized passenger boarding
• Assist customers with special needs including wheelchairs and unaccompanied minors
• Change customer flight itinerary and seat assignments as required
• Operate the Jetway
• Load and unload baggage and cargo
• Operate motorized service vehicles and equipment
• Guide and park aircraft
• Perform cabin maintenance tasks
• Work as a team to provide excellent customer service
