Job summary

Piedmont Airlines is seeking a part-time Customer Service Agent in the Ground Handling Department. You will assist passengers boarding and disembarking flights, operate the Jetway, and guide/park aircraft at the ramp.

The role requires lifting up to 70 pounds, training completion, and flexibility to work all shifts including nights and weekends. Starting rate is $15.00/hour, with benefits including paid training, holiday pay, 401(k), vacation, and travel on the American Airlines network.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of training course
• Ability to meet company goals and customer expectations in a high energy environment
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask
• Preferred: Previous employment as a front-line customer service provider
• Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs
• Use of computers, telephones, and other office equipment
• Airport ramp environment with varied weather and noise levels

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking flights
• Assist customers with special needs, including wheelchairs and unaccompanied minors
• Change flight itinerary and seat assignments as required
• Operate the Jetway
• Load and unload baggage and cargo
• Operate motorized service vehicles and equipment
• Guide and park aircraft
• Perform cabin maintenance tasks
• Work with the team to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives
