Job summary

The Experimental Aircraft Association Inc. is seeking a part-time Gift Shop Associate for the EAA Aviation Museum in Oshkosh, WI. You will sell merchandise, memberships, and museum admissions while delivering friendly, efficient service to guests and Members.

Responsibilities include greeting visitors, operating the POS system, handling cash, stocking merchandise, and supporting events. Must be flexible with weekends and holidays and enjoy aviation culture.

Qualifications

• Flexibility with scheduling: weekends, holidays, and events.
• Customer-oriented image and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Team environment or independent work capability.
• Retail sales and cash handling experience preferred.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in aviation is a plus.
• MS Word/Excel/Outlook familiarity helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide exceptional service in the museum gift shop.
• Handle cash, operate POS, process payments, make change, and issue receipts/gift certificates.
• Maintain store operations including opening/closing and merchandising.
• Assist in merchandising, stocking, inventory counts and pricing.
• Sell merchandise, EAA memberships, and museum admissions.
• Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries promptly and friendly.
• Support events such as AirVenture and other EAA activities.
