Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services in Tampa, FL, is hiring aviation fuelers to safely refuel aircraft, operate fuel trucks, connect hoses, and monitor the refueling process per safety guidelines.

Successful candidates are 18+, eligible to work in the United States, hold a valid driver's license, and can pass a background check and drug screening. English proficiency and flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to use electronic devices (IPads/Tablets, Computers, mobile devices).
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eligibility to obtain required credentials (FAA/TSA/Port Authority as applicable).
• Airlines operate 24/7; flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently conduct fueling operations.
• Maintain accurate records of fueling transactions.
• Perform daily quality control inspections on equipment and cleanliness.
• Use fuel trucks, hydrant carts, and stationary carts to refuel aircraft.
• Ensure accurate loading and balancing of fuel.
• Conduct defueling procedures as required.
• Exhibit dependable attendance and flexibility with shifts.
• Work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather.
