Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is hiring an Aircraft Fueler to support safe, efficient refueling operations at the airport. You will operate fuel trucks, connect hoses, verify fuel quantities, and monitor equipment in line with safety and aviation standards.

The role involves recording transactions, equipment inspections, and coordinating with airline personnel. Overnight and weekend shifts are required to meet 24/7 airline needs, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eligible to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, as applicable).
• Ground handling roles require flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently conduct fueling operations.
• Maintain accurate records of fueling transactions.
• Perform daily quality control inspections on equipment.
• Utilize fuel trucks, hydrant carts, and stationary carts to refuel aircraft.
• Ensure accurate loading and balancing of fuel.
• Conduct defueling procedures as required.
• Exhibit consistent and dependable attendance.
• Work outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures and weather.
