GFT is seeking a Senior Architectural Project Manager with an Aviation Focus to join our Architectural team. This role supports airports and airline clients nationwide, with offices in Denver, Phoenix, Dallas, or South Florida, and a hybrid work model requiring regular office attendance.

Qualifications

• Licensed/Registered Architect in the United States.
• 15 years’ experience with Aviation Projects.
• Effective writer, communicator, detail-oriented designer.
• Able to work collaboratively with staff and clients on multiple projects.
• In depth knowledge of International Building Codes, NFPA, ADA, LEED, and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an aviation subject matter expert, bringing industry knowledge and best practices to projects and teams.
• Provide thought leadership on the evolving aviation industry, including passenger experience and airport operations.
• Grow GFT’s aviation practice by strengthening client relationships and pursuing opportunities.
• Be a client facing representative for GFT Architecture and manage client trust.
• Generate project scopes, schedules, and budgets and achieve performance targets.
• Lead complex projects and diverse teams to serve clients and deepen relationships.
• Drive high-quality production of construction documents and technical details.
• Lead development of design concepts and presentations.
• Coordinate work of all disciplines and supervise shop drawings and RFIs.
• Guide and mentor emerging architectural staff.
• Assist with proposals responding to RFQ/RFPs.
