Job summary

StandardAero seeks a Mobile Service Technician to support field operations for gas turbine powered aircraft. You will troubleshoot, perform engine changes and powerplant installations, and certify work to manufacturer specs.

Ideal candidates hold an A&P license with hands-on experience on engines such as TFE731, PW300, PW500, JT15D, CF34, LEAP, and related accessories, with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold an A&P license with strong technical knowledge on gas turbine engines listed (TFE731, PW300, PW500, JT15D, Spey, Tay, HTF7000, GTCP 36 APU, BR710, CFM56, LEAP, CF34, AE3007, CFE738).
• College degree OR technical vocational training or military aviation maintenance training.
• Must have good written and verbal communication and be able to work with customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, airframe interface, ground operation, troubleshooting, adjustment and repair of engines and related accessories per manufacturer instructions.
• Attach Powerplant Quick Engine Change components and install powerplants, propellers, governors and related accessories.
• Monitor tooling calibrations and perform inspections following engine repairs and modifications for final release to service.
• Provide airworthiness determinations and release to service at the Repair Station or other locations.
