Job summary

StandardAero is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to support field service on gas turbine powered aircraft. The role involves engine changes, repairs, troubleshooting, and powerplant installations in customer aircraft with travel within the United States.

Based in the United States, the technician must have an active A&P license, valid driver’s license, passport, and strong communication skills. Expect 70–90% travel and ongoing training opportunities as part of a comprehensive rewards package.

Qualifications

  • Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
  • High school graduate with technical vocational training or college degree preferred.
  • Must have A&P License.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must have a valid passport or be able to obtain one.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspection, airframe interface, ground operation, troubleshooting, adjustment and repair of engines and related accessories, per manufacturers’ instructions.
  • Accomplish duties professionally, reflecting the company image to customers.
  • Attach Powerplant "Quick Engine Change" components and install powerplants, propellers, governors, and related accessories.
  • Monitor tooling calibrations for equipment used to perform tasks.
  • Complete inspections and certify work for release to service.
  • Make airworthiness determinations and provide certification for work performed.
