Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Denver seeks an Assistant Construction Manager to support Aviation and Federal design-build projects. You will assist the Construction Manager with daily safety, quality, schedule, and cost control while coordinating with subcontractors and managing project documentation.

Responsibilities include developing execution plans, preparing RFPs and contract documents, cost tracking, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in construction-related field with 3 years of experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Experience with document control, scheduling, and cost control software.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily management of project safety, quality, schedule and cost control.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and manage project documentation.
• Support client interface for proposals and project items.
• Develop and implement project execution and QA plans.
• Assist with RFPs, bids and subcontractor selection.
• Support cost reporting, scheduling, and progress tracking.
