Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Denver is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead diverse design-build projects for Aviation and Federal clients. You will drive safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance while guiding field staff and maintaining client relationships.

Expect responsibility for planning, risk review, contracts, and staff development. This role demands strong technical and leadership abilities with experience across multi-discipline teams and complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field and 7 years relevant project management experience.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access).
• Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control and project management software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day construction activities and the successful execution of one or more projects.
• Develop project plans, schedules, estimating, cost development, and critical project objectives.
• Develop and manage client relationships; interface on proposals and project items.
• Oversee project risk reviews and coordinate with Legal Department as required.
• Negotiate contracts, change orders, and manage downstream RFP/bid processes.
• Mentor interns and construction staff; provide performance feedback.
