Burns & McDonnell's Aviation & Federal construction group seeks a staff estimator to specialize in preconstruction cost estimates for a range of projects from design-build to program management. From concept through subcontract award, you will assemble material and labor costs, review plans for risk, prepare bid packages, and present estimating strategy to the team.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field with 3 years estimating experience.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Quotesoft, Accubid, Oracle, PowerBI preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage large workloads in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Consult with clients, procurement, subcontractors, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Interface with Procurement and Operations to obtain support and commitment to the cost estimates.
• Analyze historical data and provide improvement recommendations to cost estimating procedures to reduce future discrepancies.
• Identify cost trends to assist management in cost reduction and process improvement efforts.
• Assemble material and labor costs for clients and proposals for construction projects.
• Prepare and deliver bid packages to subcontractors.
• Present estimating information and attend pre bid meetings.
• Analyze and price value engineering for submission.

Educación

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field
