Job summary

OvationTM Systems is seeking an FBO General Manager to oversee daily operations of the FBO facility, including personnel, safety, customer service, and regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes leadership, strong aviation knowledge, and a focus on quality service.

The position requires overseeing fueling, hangar leasing, maintenance, and business development while driving revenue growth and ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, business administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of aviation regulations and industry standards.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate self-motivation.
• Excellent leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with FBO management practices and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the FBO facility, including personnel, safety, security, and customer service.
• Monitors daily operations, recommending improved courses of action where necessary.
• Plans, directs and coordinates activities for fueling, maintenance, and hangar leasing.
• Interviews, hires, trains, and motivates all FBO personnel; plan, assign, and direct work while ensuring appropriate staffing levels.
• Directs and monitors personnel functions and conducts formal performance evaluations.
• Provides enthusiastic leadership to support employee engagement and morale.
• Reviews and submits for approval compensation plans for all employees.
• Ensures ongoing training and development of employees to improve performance and safety.
