Job summary

Avflight Corporation in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a General Manager to oversee all aspects of the FBO, including customer relations, line operations, accounting, safety and environmental functions, and coordination of fuel, hangar and office rental.

You will lead day-to-day operations, foster a positive team environment, ensure safety and compliance, manage budgeting and staffing, and serve as the airport liaison to strengthen customer loyalty.

Qualifications

• Degree in Aviation or related field required or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• General knowledge of business management and accounting.
• Proficient with personal computers and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the FBO, including customer relations and line operations.
• Develop and manage base forecasting and budgeting.
• Promote safety culture through training and procedures.
• Ensure staffing levels meet daily/weekly volumes and oversee safety and security.
• Lead investigations and incident reporting as needed.
• Administer training programs and perform annual reviews.
