Job summary

Modern Aviation in Englewood, CO seeks a Customer Service Manager to lead the FBO Customer Service Team, uphold safety and service quality, and partner with GM and Line Service leadership to deliver a seamless customer experience.

The role directs daily customer service operations, conducts shift briefings, recruits and trains staff, and ensures adherence to standards while driving customer satisfaction scores and service recovery as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years related experience or equivalent combination
• People leadership or supervisory experience
• Experience in the aviation industry; FBO preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business systems; X1 preferred
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead daily customer service activities to ensure professional and timely service delivery
• Serve as an active, visible leader during operations, handling service recovery when necessary
• Conduct shift briefings to align CSRs and supervisors on priorities, safety topics, and service expectations
• Meet, greet, and assist customers with hotel accommodations, ground transportation, catering, and special service requests
• Ensure adherence to standards related to customer service, safety, and security
• Support efforts to improve external customer satisfaction scores, including surveys and feedback tools
• Directly supervise CSRs and Customer Service Supervisors
• Recruit, interview, and support hiring of new team members
• Ensure initial and recurrent training is completed and documented
• Develop and manage CSR schedules; adjust staffing to demand
• Conduct performance reviews; provide coaching and corrective action
• Promote employee engagement and accountability to support loyalty
