Pape-Dawson Engineers is seeking an Associate Vice President - Client Service Leader with deep expertise in aviation engineering and project management. You will drive business development initiatives, manage key client relationships, and collaborate with marketing, directors, project managers, and external partners.

The role emphasizes leading airfield design projects, preparing plans, estimates, and schedules, and mentoring junior staff while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Requires B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Knowledge of business development fundamentals; ability to train others in BD tasks.
• Proven record in aviation business development.
• Experience managing clients in aviation (municipalities and government).
• 12+ years in aviation engineering and project management.
• Texas PE license or ability to obtain within 4 months.
• Experience delivering airport/transportation drawings and specs.
• Familiar with MS Office; Newforma and Bluebeam.

Responsabilités

• Lead business development initiatives to grow the company's portfolio.
• Travel as required to meet clients and represent the firm.
• Provide engineering and design for airfield projects (runway/taxiway, lighting, drainage).
• Prepare airport design plans and related drawings (grading, drainage, markings, NAVAIDs).
• Provide estimates for engineering budgets and schedules.
• Mentor junior engineers and design staff; support QA/QC to meet standards.
• Ensure project compliance with KSA practices and design standards.
