Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Dallas is seeking an Aviation Maintenance Technician to support our FAR 145 repair station. You will perform aircraft engine maintenance on Pratt & Whitney Commercial engines, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while working onsite at the Dallas facility.

The role requires an FAA Airframe & Powerplant license, a HS diploma or GED, and at least 6 months of engine repair experience. Willingness to travel and pass FAA-related checks is expected.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or GED) required.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant license required.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in repair of commercial aircraft engines required.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft engine maintenance on all models of Pratt & Whitney commercial engines.
• Ensure quality and safety, meeting EH&S, RTX/Company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support maintenance turnaround time through teamwork and CORE processes.
• Follow Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, Engine Shop Manual procedures and data.
• Perform other shop and housekeeping duties as required.
• Build internal/external relationships through communication and understanding customer perspectives.
• Travel domestically and internationally on short notice as required.
• Must be able to obtain or currently have a US Passport.
• Learn and perform engine inspections and lead maintenance activities.
