Job summary

Kalitta Charters II is seeking an experienced Engine Manager to oversee the technical, operational, compliance, and financial performance of the CFM56-3 engine fleet. The role focuses on engine health monitoring, performance analysis, maintenance planning, shop visit coordination, LLP management, and materials support to boost reliability and cost efficiency.

Ideal candidates will have extensive turbofan engine experience, FAA regulatory knowledge, and proven leadership in fault diagnosis,

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience with CFM56-3 or similar turbofan engines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor engine performance trends and diagnose issues to plan maintenance.
• Develop engine allocation, rotation, and removal strategies to optimize fleet.
• Define shop visit scopes and manage teardown reviews and return-to-service planning.
• Track LLP cycles and forecast replacement to optimize parts usage.
• Coordinate materials forecasting, sourcing, and budgeting for engine support.
• Maintain FAA-compliant engine records and prepare performance reports.
• Improve time-on-wing and dispatch reliability indicators.
