Job summary

Kalitta Charters II seeks an Aviation Maintenance Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day aircraft maintenance at the CVG station in Erlanger, KY. You will direct Aircraft Maintenance Technicians and support staff, coordinate scheduled and unscheduled work, and promote a safety‑first culture.

Qualifications

• Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least five years of aircraft maintenance experience, including at least two years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Working knowledge of FAA regulations, OEM manuals, and standard aviation maintenance practices.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordination with maintenance teams, leaders, and flight crews.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Ability to satisfy applicable background-screening requirements and obtain and maintain airport security clearance, including a SIDA badge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct maintenance crews performing aircraft inspections, repairs, modifications, and troubleshooting.
• Support compliance with FAA regulations, Kalitta Charters II policies, and manufacturer maintenance requirements.
• Prioritize and monitor work assignments to support timely completion of maintenance.
• Review, sign, and approve maintenance records within your authorization scope.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to maintenance personnel.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Control, Flight Operations, Planning, Materials, and Quality Control to maintain workflow.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are available and serviceable.
• Conduct shift briefings, assign work, communicate priorities, and monitor progress.
