Job summary

Kalitta Charters II at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) in Erlanger, Kentucky, seeks an Aviation Maintenance Supervisor to lead day-to-day aircraft maintenance, ensuring airworthiness, regulatory compliance, and readiness for service.

You will supervise Aircraft Maintenance Technicians, coordinate scheduled and unscheduled work, mentor staff, and uphold a safety-first culture through disciplined execution and clear communication.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P certificate required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum five years in aircraft maintenance, with at least two in lead/supervisory role.
• Working knowledge of FAA regs, OEM manuals, and standard maintenance practices.
• Proven ability to lead teams, organize work, and manage priorities safely.
• Clear written and verbal communication with maintenance teams and flight crews.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance crews performing inspections, repairs, modifications, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure FAA compliance and Kalitta Charters II procedures.
• Prioritize and monitor work to meet scheduled and unscheduled needs.
• Review and approve maintenance records and logbooks.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Control, Flight Operations, Planning, Materials, and QC.
• Ensure tools and equipment are available, serviceable, and calibrated.
• Conduct shift briefings and communicate priorities.
• Foster safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Coach and develop maintenance personnel for leadership readiness.
