Job summary

Kalitta Charters II seeks an experienced Engine Manager to oversee CFM56-3 fleet health, maintenance planning, and cost performance. You will coordinate shop visits, track life-limited parts, and ensure FAA compliance while partnering with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with a proactive approach to improving reliability, readiness, and fleet availability across the organization.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience working with CFM56-3 or comparable turbofan engines.
• Strong understanding of engine performance analysis, reliability engineering, and maintenance planning principles.
• Experience coordinating engine shop visits, vendor communication, teardown reviews, and return-to-service planning.
• Experience with life-limited parts tracking, cycle forecasting, and engine records management.
• Working knowledge of FAA requirements (Part 121/Part 145).

Responsibilities

• Engine health monitoring, performance analysis, and trend evaluation.
• Develop engine allocation, rotation, and removal strategies to optimise fleet availability.
• Define shop visit scopes, manage vendor communication and teardown reviews.
• Track LLP cycles and forecast replacement to support maintenance planning.
• Maintain engine records per FAA and company standards.
• Prepare performance summaries, budgets, and technical recommendations for leadership.
