Job summary

Reliable Robotics in Mountain View, CA is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join the Embedded Systems team. You will develop C/C++ flight software and Python test scripts that power our autonomous aviation stack and support DO-178C processes.

Responsibilities include design, implementation, unit testing, and integration, plus building CI pipelines. Requirements: bachelor's in CS/CE or equivalent, 1+ year in C/C++, and experience with embedded, high-performance or safety-critical software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE or equivalent
• 1+ year experience in C or C++
• Experience developing software for embedded/high-performance/safety-critical systems

Responsibilities

• Develop flight software requirements, design, code, unit tests, and test cases per DO-178C
• Work on bare-metal init, networking, protocol drivers, memory interfaces
• Develop Python-based integration tests
• Build and maintain CI infrastructure for software integration, build, test, and deployment
• Travel up to 10% of time
