Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Electronic Machine Builder for the 5th shift (Finance) in Minneapolis. You will assemble and inspect electronic devices per engineering specs, ensure safe and efficient operation of the work area, and participate in continuous improvement to address safety, production and quality concerns.

The role supports a 5th shift: Monday & Friday 10:00 am-6:00 pm and Saturday & Sunday 10:00 am-10:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Assemble mechanical and/or electronic devices per engineering specs and verbal instructions.
• Check and adjust balance, alignment, tension, spacing and record parameters.
• Operate manual and automated mechanical, electrical and optical checking equipment.
• Calculate raw data and calibrate assemblies to meet final specs.
• Inspect faulty assemblies using mechanical testing equipment.
• Analyze findings to identify defects and repair methods.
• Disassemble and reassemble devices to complete repairs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and/or electronic devices and assemblies referring to engineering specs, prints, layouts and/or verbal instructions.
• Check and adjust for balance, alignment, tension, spacing, physical dimensions, outputs and adjustable parameters and record non-adjustable parameters.
• Use a variety of manual and automated mechanical, electrical and optical checking equipment.
• Calculate raw data and adjust/calibrate assemblies to achieve the final specification as required.
• Check faulty assemblies using mechanical checking equipment.
• Analyze and diagnose findings to determine defects and method of repair.
• Disassembles, replaces parts, readjust and reassemble devices to complete repairs.
