Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks an Electronic Machine Builder for 4th shift in Minnesota. You will assemble and inspect electronic and mechanical devices to meet exacting specifications, monitor production for safety and quality, and participate in continuous improvement.

The role includes Monday & Friday nights and Saturday & Sunday nights shifts with possible overtime. Training may occur on another shift, and overtime may be mandated.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Two or more classes of progressive electronics training; transcripts required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical/electronic devices per specs and instructions.
• Check balance, alignment, and dimensions; record non-adjustable parameters.
• Use mechanical, electrical, and optical checking equipment.
• Calibrate assemblies to meet final specifications.
• Diagnose defects and determine repair methods.
• Disassemble and reassemble devices for repairs.
• Perform electronic troubleshooting as required.
• Assist or instruct others as needed.

Electronic Machine Builder- 4th Shift (Finance)

an Electronic Machine Builder will Produce high quality products and services for our customers. You will assemble and inspect product to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. You will set up and monitor the production of product in your area and participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production and quality improvements.

this role will support 4th shift: Monday & Friday 10:00 pm- 6:00 am and Saturday & Sunday 10:00 pm- 10:00 am. please note training may take place on a different shift, and the role may include mandated overtime.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and/or electronic devices and assemblies referring to engineering specs, prints, layouts and/or verbal instructions.
• Check and adjust for balance, alignment, tension, spacing, physical dimensions, outputs and adjustable parameters and record non-adjustable parameters.
• Use a variety of manual and automated mechanical, electrical and optical checking equipment.
• Calculate raw data and adjust/calibrate assemblies to achieve the final specification as required.
• Check faulty assemblies using mechanical checking equipment.
• Analyze and diagnose findings to determine defects and method of repair.
• Disassembles, replaces parts, readjust and reassemble devices to complete repairs.
• Perform electronic troubleshooting at the level consistent with the schooling required as indicated at the end of this job description.
• May assist or instruct other Electro-Mechanical Builders or employees at lower labor grades.

• Two or more classes of progressive electronics training from an accredited college or universi ty . (Intro to Electronics I and II, etc) Must be able to provide transcripts

Hourly Pay Range

The hourly range for this position is $31.86. Please note that this compensation information serves as a general guideline.
