Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks an Electronic Machine Builder to assemble and inspect electronic and mechanical devices to meet precise specifications. You will set up and monitor production, participate in safety and quality improvements, and work on the 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday 10:00 pm–6:00 am).

Qualifications

• Two or more electronics training classes from an accredited college; transcripts required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and/or electronic devices and assemblies per specs, prints or verbal instructions.
• Check and adjust for balance, alignment, tension, spacing and record parameters.
• Use manual and automated mechanical, electrical and optical checking equipment.
• Calculate raw data and calibrate assemblies to final specifications.
• Check faulty assemblies with mechanical checking equipment.
• Analyze and diagnose findings to determine defects and repair methods.
• Disassemble, replace parts, readjust and reassemble devices for repairs.
• Perform electronic troubleshooting at the level indicated by required schooling.
• May assist or instruct other Electro-Mechanical Builders or lower labor grades.
