Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Electronic Machine Builder for 2nd shift to assemble and inspect high-quality products per engineering specs. You will monitor your work area for safe, efficient operation and participate in continuous improvement at the site.

Role includes mandatory overtime and training may occur on a different shift; 2nd shift runs Monday through Friday. Prior aerospace experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Two or more progressive electronics training classes from an accredited college or university; transcripts requested.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and/or electronic devices per engineering specs, prints, layouts or verbal instructions.
• Check balance, alignment, tension, spacing and record adjustable parameters.
• Use manual and automated mechanical, electrical and optical checking equipment.
• Calculate raw data and calibrate assemblies to meet final specs.
• Inspect faulty assemblies and diagnose defects and repair methods.
• Disassemble and replace parts, readjust and reassemble devices for repairs.
• Provide electronic troubleshooting as required.
• May guide or assist other Electro-Mechanical Builders.
