Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond is seeking an Aviation Student Worker- Dispatch to support the flight line operations. The role assists the dispatch supervisor with daily tasks, dispatching duties, cleaning, and ticket auditing as assigned.

The position is part-time (less than 20 hours per week), non-exempt, with a starting wage of $9.25 per hour. Applicants must be EKU students enrolled at least 12 credit hours and proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at EKU for at least 12 hours
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Must have a flight schedule pro account
• Student must have passed the private pilot checkride

Responsibilities

• Assist the dispatch supervisor with daily flight line operations
• Duties can include dispatching, cleaning, auditing dispatch tickets, washing aircraft, auditing aircraft or other duties as assigned
• Support daily requirements of the Aviation Program within the flight line
