Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond is seeking an Aviation Student Worker- Dispatch to support the flight line operations. The role assists the dispatch supervisor with daily tasks, dispatching duties, cleaning, and ticket auditing as assigned.

The position is part-time (less than 20 hours per week), non-exempt, with a starting wage of $9.25 per hour. Applicants must be EKU students enrolled at least 12 credit hours and proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Job Summary/Basic Functions

A successful applicant will assist with daily requirements of the Aviation Program within the flight line. Duties will include assisting the flight line dispatch supervisor in everyday operations.

Duties for Dispatch are assigned daily by the Supervisor. Duties can includedispatching, cleaning, auditing dispatch tickets, washing aircraft, auditing aircraft or other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at EKU at least 12 hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Be able to pick up on tasks rather quickly
• Must have a flight schedule pro account
• Student must have passed the private pilot checkride.
