Job summary

Modern Aviation in Groton, CT is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for private and corporate aviation customers, delivering exceptional, personalized service in a fast-paced FBO environment. The CSR will coordinate services, assist passengers and flight crews, process invoices, and maintain strong relationships with local providers.

Availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Strong multitasking, organizational, and decision making skills.
• Negotiation and sales skills.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of aircraft types and aircraft servicing practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver proactive, personalized service to private and corporate aviation clientele.
• Meet, greet, and assist passengers and flight crews with professionalism and care.
• Arrange services including hotel accommodations, catering, and ground transportation.
• Coordinate aircraft services such as fuel, hangar storage, and other operational requests.
• Educate customers on available services, promotions, and programs.
• Answer customer questions, resolve concerns, and provide service recovery as needed.
