Job summary

Allegheny County Airport Authority is seeking an Airline Services Technician - Engineer to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair complex conveyor systems and related equipment. You will work with Electricians and Mechanics, handling major overhauls and occasional structural repairs in a 24/7 airport environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, an apprenticeship or equivalent training, and strong knowledge of conveyor components, welding, and three-phase power.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED is required.
Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent training from a trade/technical school or military training.
Current PA Class C license or ability to obtain one; provide personal hand tools.
Knowledge of stationary engineer practices, conveyor maintenance.
Safety precautions and injury prevention knowledge.
Welding skills: ARC, MIG, TIG.
Understanding of 480 VAC and 110 VAC power.
