Job summary

ERMC Aviation is seeking a BHS Maintenance Technician for DAL Airport. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated baggage handling conveyor systems to ensure smooth airport operations in a fast-paced setting.

Expect hands-on work with opportunities for growth. Requires strong mechanical/electrical aptitude, reading schematics, and ability to obtain necessary security clearances in the U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Familiarity with PLCs and control systems is a plus.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must possess a Government ID and social security card.
• Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge.
• Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation.
• Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on baggage handling conveyor systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
• Repair or replace defective parts and ensure proper system calibration.
• Monitor system performance and respond promptly to alerts or breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to optimize system performance.
