Job summary

Allegheny County Airport Authority seeks an Airline Services Technician – Engineer to maintain and repair conveyor systems and baggage handling equipment. You will work with a team of electricians and mechanics to perform preventive maintenance and unscheduled repairs, ensuring safe operations across the baggage system.

The role requires hands-on expertise in welding, troubleshooting, and equipment overhaul, with strong adherence to safety guidelines and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum five years of experience in Industrial Maintenance.
• Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or equivalent training.
• Current, valid Pennsylvania Class C driver’s license or ability to obtain one.
• Must provide personal hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors per OEM or ACAA program.
• Carry out unscheduled repairs and major overhauls to the baggage system.
• Collaborate with Electricians and Mechanics in a composite crew.
• Perform light fabrication of components.
• Overhaul gear boxes and various conveyor components.
• Replace air filters on passenger boarding bridges.
