Job summary

The Allegheny County Airport Authority seeks an Airline Services Technician – Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair passenger boarding bridges, perform preventive maintenance, and handle light maintenance tasks as part of a cross‑functional team.

Must have a high school diploma or GED, journeyman experience or 5 years in the trade, an apprenticeship or military training, and a PA Class C license along with personal hand tools. This is a full‑time, 24/7 position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Journeyman mechanic or 5 years related experience.
• Apprenticeship or military training completed.
• Valid PA Class C driver’s license and own tools.
• Own PPE footwear and comply with PPE policy.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and dress code.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on passenger boarding bridges per OEM/acaa program.
• Execute unscheduled repairs, including metal work and component replacement.
• Perform maintenance on water cabinets and related equipment.
• Cut and weld steel when required.
• Work 24/7 in a safe, compliant environment and follow safety procedures.
• Collaborate with other trades and participate in safety analyses.
