Job summary

ACAA is seeking an Airline Services Technician - Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair passenger boarding bridges, perform preventive maintenance, and support a composite crew with multiple trade groups. The role requires hands-on maintenance, safety adherence, and the ability to work across shifts in a 24/7 operation.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, relevant journeyman experience or apprenticeship/military training, and a valid PA driver’s license with own tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman experience or 5 years of related experience.
• Completion of an apprenticeship or military training preferred.
• PA Class C driver's license or ability to obtain one; provide own tools.
• Own protective footwear required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair passenger boarding bridges.
• Perform preventive maintenance per OEM recommendations or maintenance program.
• Execute unscheduled repairs including sheet metal and structural work; component fabrication and bearing replacements.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on water cabinets.
• Cut and weld steel when required; conduct jet way bridge maintenance.
