Jetvia, a long-standing leader in executive jet charter services, seeks a Controller to oversee accounting operations, month-end close, payroll, fixed assets, and NetSuite governance. You will own the general ledger, close processes, and internal controls, driving clean mappings post ERP migration.

You will lead a lean but growing accounting team, ensure GAAP compliance, collaborate with non-finance leaders, and implement robust policies to support a high-growth aviation business.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years leading accountants as a controller or accounting manager.
• Hands-on payroll experience: reconciling payroll to the general ledger, payroll accruals, payroll tax, multi-state employees, and 401(k) deductions.
• Experience owning the work after an ERP or accounting system change (e.g., QuickBooks to NetSuite).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition (ASC 606).

Responsabilidades

• Own the month-end and year-end close with calendar, accruals, reconciliations, consolidation, and financial statement review.
• Reconcile payroll to the general ledger and book payroll accruals for PTO, bonuses, and pilot pay components.
• Manage NetSuite day-to-day: COA, period close settings, user roles, and integrations with payroll and billing.
• Prepare schedules and coordinate external audits and tax work.
• Develop and document accounting policies and internal controls for a growing aviation business.
