Job summary

Urban is growing and seeking a qualified Aviation Assistant Resident Project Representative to join our Construction Management team for complex aviation projects in the greater Harrisburg region. The role provides technical support to the CM team and assists with active aviation construction programs.

The candidate will help monitor costs, schedule, and contract performance, while coordinating with owners, contractors, designers, and stakeholders to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate in Pennsylvania is strongly preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in design, inspection, or construction management of aviation projects or similar projects.
• Aviation or similar construction experience is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent oral, written, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the CM Team in aviation construction projects, including monitoring costs, schedule, claims, and overall project performance.
• Provide direct support to the Resident Project Representative.
• Perform daily field project oversight, monitoring, and documentation.
• Assist with project meetings and document meetings with minutes.
• Oversee project submissions, including submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, etc.
• Coordinate between the owner, contractors, designers, etc. involved in the construction process.
• Perform CPM schedule reviews.
• Payment Application processing.
• Monitor construction activities for conformance with contract documents.
• Stakeholder Coordination - Coordinate construction with affected parties, general public, local businesses, etc.
