Urban Engineers, Inc. in the Harrisburg area seeks an Aviation Assistant Resident Project Representative to join the Construction Management team on complex aviation projects.

You will support the CM team, provide field oversight, manage documentation, and coordinate with owners, contractors and designers to ensure conformance with contract documents. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, 2+ years in aviation design/inspection/construction management,

• Excellent oral, written communication and organizational skills are required.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in aviation design, inspection, or construction management.

Responsibilities

• Support the CM Team in aviation construction projects, including monitoring costs, schedule, claims, and overall project performance.
• Provide direct support to the Resident Project Representative.
• Perform daily field project oversight, monitoring, and documentation.
• Assist with project meetings and document meetings with minutes.
• Oversee project submissions, including submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, etc.
• Coordinate between the owner, contractors, designers, etc. involved in the construction process.
• Perform CPM schedule reviews.
• Payment Application processing.
• Monitor construction activities for conformance with contract documents.
• Stakeholder coordination with affected parties, local businesses, etc.

Job Summary:

Urban is growing and seeking a qualified Aviation Assistant Resident Project Representative to work as part of our Construction Management (CM) Team on complex aviation projects throughout the greater Harrisburg region. The candidate will provide technical support to our CM Team and assist with active aviation construction projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the CM Team in aviation construction projects, including monitoring costs, schedule, claims, and overall project performance.
• Provide direct support to the Resident Project Representative.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management or a related discipline is required.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate in Pennsylvania is strongly preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in design, inspection, or construction management of aviation projects or similar projects.
• Aviation or similar construction experience is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent oral, written, communication and organizational skills.

Pay Rate:

$70,000 - $95,000 / annually + travel reimbursement
