Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is seeking a Resident Construction Manager to oversee diverse construction and rehabilitation projects for the Allegheny County Airport Authority in Pittsburgh, PA. The role focuses on landside/airside pavements, electrical/mechanical work, and multi-prime contracts with a heavy emphasis on aviation experience.

The candidate will lead teams, manage schedules, review contractor work, and ensure compliance with plans. Federal background checks are required.

Competenze

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 10 years of construction experience in RM/lead inspection or superintendent roles.
Experience on aviation projects preferred.
Ability to pass federal background checks.
Strong communication, organization and leadership skills.

Mansioni

Maintain excellent relationships with clients, tenants, stakeholders, designers, and contractors.
Actively manage project schedule from inception to close out.
Review contractor work for compliance with plans and specs.
Conduct weekly site reviews/meetings and document minutes.
Upload and manage project information in PMIS.
Review, measure, and approve contractor requisitions.
Develop collaborative solutions to project issues and problems.
Audit and negotiate change orders and obtain approvals.
Oversee job turnover and close-out to meet owner expectations.
Coordinate with 3rd party engineering and inspections.
