Job summary

Textron’s Broussard facility is seeking a Composite Tech to manufacture, repair, and overhaul composite panels and related products in accordance with approved data. You will work under supervision to maintain production hours and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, basic reading of work instructions, and experience with metal bonding or sheet metal. Strong communication and tool-handling skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with metal bonding or sheet metal preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and process specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, repair, and overhaul composite panels under supervision of a qualified technician.
• Maintain production labor hours within average time allowed.
• Promote safety in daily tasks and among peers.
• Prioritize work to meet customer demand.
• Contribute to new product development including destructive test panels.
• Maintain shop equipment and tooling.
