Job summary

ST Engineering Aerospace is seeking a skilled Composite Technician in Pensacola, FL to restore and maintain aircraft components using advanced materials and precision techniques. You will perform fiberglass layups, vacuum bagging, and sheetmetal tasks in a fast-paced aerospace MRO environment emphasizing safety and teamwork.

Required: a high school diploma or GED, a 40-hour composite training course, and at least 3 years of composite repair experience on commercial aircraft.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certificate of completion of a 40-hour Composite Training Course or equivalent.
• Minimum 36 months experience in composite repairs and/or maintenance of commercial aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Remove, replace, or repair aircraft components in a shop environment requiring composite repair or replacement.
• Mix resins to SRM specifications.
• Cut and mold fiberglass, apply per SRM specs.
• Layout and fabricate sheetmetal fillers for composite purposes.
• Prepare sheetmetal (alodine and primer) for bonding.
• Maintain tools and supplies in good condition.
• Adhere to safe maintenance practices and keep area clean.
• Complete training forms and participate in required courses.
