Gulfstream Aerospace Savannah is seeking an Aircraft Component Repair Technician II to repair and overhaul aircraft assemblies and components. You will interpret blueprints, perform precision measurements, and work within Gulfstream RS guidelines to return parts to service.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years in related areas such as sheetmetal, hydraulic overhaul, or electrical system work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years of experience in sheetmetal, hydraulic overhaul, electrical/electronic harness buildup, electrical systems troubleshooting, battery servicing, APU removal, installation and servicing.

Responsabilités

• Repair and overhaul internal and external aircraft assemblies per Gulfstream RS requirements.
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs using blueprints and maintenance manuals.
• Set up test equipment and perform functional tests on components.
• Inspect parts to ensure conformity with specifications.
• Remove skins and components on flight controls and install parts.
• Demonstrate repair techniques including soldering and protective coatings.
• Maintain paperwork per FAA RS requirements.
