Job summary

Passero Associates' Charlotte, NC office is seeking a paid Aviation Civil Engineer Co-op/Intern to support our aviation team on airport planning, design and infrastructure projects. You will work on runways, taxiways, aprons, hangars, and landside facilities using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related tools.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Interest in aviation engineering and airport design.
Immediate availability through 2027.
Proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with planning and design of airport infrastructure projects (runways, taxiways, aprons, hangars, landside facilities).
Support preparation of engineering reports, calculations, specifications, and construction documents.
Perform field investigations, site inspections, and data collection at airport facilities.
Assist with FAA grant-funded projects and airport improvement programs.
Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software to develop plans and exhibits.
Coordinate with project teams and support deliverables through design and construction.
