Job summary

Ardurra Group, Inc. is seeking an Aviation Engineering Intern for the summer of 2027 in Charlotte, NC.

You will support engineering tasks that contribute to the planning, design, and construction of airport infrastructure and gain exposure to real-world aviation projects. You will assist with plan details, specifications, and cost estimation activities while collaborating with engineers and project managers on multiple assignments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Exposure to AutoCAD or Civil 3D is preferred.
• Interest in airport design, aviation infrastructure, FAA standards, or transportation engineering is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and work ethic.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team-oriented and capable of working with a team and independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Bluebeam and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing plan details, outlines, and design components for airport infrastructure projects.
• Support preparation of technical specifications and project documentation.
• Research design options and present findings to project managers or engineers.
• Review design drawings and contribute to quality control efforts.
• Prepare sections of technical memoranda and assist with project reports.
