Job summary

Dassault Falcon Jet in Melbourne, FL seeks a Certification Engineer to define, develop and manage STC certification requirements. You will coordinate FAA/DER approvals for non-STC alterations and serve as SME for certification tasks.

You will prepare project plans and manage ODA/FAA coordination for Dassault STCs. The role requires knowledge of FAR Part 25, EASA requirements, and strong technical documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in certification of aircraft and/or modifications.
• Thorough understanding of FAA FAR Part 25 certification requirements.
• Familiar with EASA certification requirements.
• Familiar with STC requirements and activities.
• Proficient in composing technical documentation and reports.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop and manage certification requirements for STCs.
• Coordinate FAA/DER approvals for non-STC alterations.
• Serve as SME for certification requirements.
• Prepare and maintain project plans for STC certification deliverables.
• Coordinate ODA/FAA approvals and validation of Dassault STCs.
• Issue Letters of Authorization (LOA) and PMA assist letters as needed.
• Coordinate data package distribution to LOA holders and update materials.
