Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services Inc. is seeking an Airline Catering Cook in Boise. The role prepares and cooks high-quality meals in a fast-paced catering environment, ensuring recipes, portions, and schedules are followed with strict food safety and HACCP compliance.

You will perform prep tasks, maintain quality and presentation standards, monitor inventory, and collaborate with the team to meet production goals while upholding cleanliness and safety throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a commercial kitchen; airline catering experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Culinary training or certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized recipes and processes
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar systems

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook hot food items according to established recipes, portion standards, and daily production schedules
• Perform food preparation tasks including cleaning, cutting, marinating, seasoning, and cooking ingredients
• Ensure all meals meet company quality, presentation, and portion requirements
• Maintain compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards, including HACCP requirements
• Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to ensure consistency and accuracy
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering food and kitchen supplies as needed
• Inspect incoming goods to ensure quality and specification compliance
• Assist in resolving quality concerns and implementing corrective actions as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to meet production goals and deadlines
• Perform any additional duties as assigned
